my husband had to basically figure out how to snap the panels together and work thru what went where so far it works okay , waiting to see how well the compost breaks down thru the months until planting season

Wasn't difficult to assemble by myself. Legs are uneven, even with stabilizing bar. Both sides don't touch the ground and rocks when turning the tumbler. Door doesn't fully close. Tumbler itself is crooked and hits side of leg when turning. Stabilizer Bar pops out at slightest movement. Returning.

Differcult to assemble, they say it takes at least 6 weeks to compost, lots of flies on the composting matter!

Easy to put together, nicely compact, and fun to use. I've been using this to compost kitchen and garden waste for some months now. Not only have I harvested a fair amount of solid material (does wonders with our rhubarb plants), but I also collect the leachate which drips out, and use this diluted as an effective (if pungent) liquid plant-food - I've saved a fortune buying tomato-feed this summer. The only slight downside is the cloud of fruitflies which appear when you open the drum on a warm day. Other than that, I think this is a brilliant and thoroughly practical item.

La descrizione è fuorviante: si dice che è a doppia camera, ma è una unica camera. L'assemblaggio dei 6 pezzi che costituiscono l' anello è piuttosto difficoltoso e in qualche caso è necessario dare una bella botta per farli incastrare. Nonostante questa difficoltà alcuni pezzi si distaccano da soli mentre ne stai aggiungendo altri. Il resto dell'assemblaggio non è particolarmente complesso. Dopo una settimana circa di uso la compostiera si disassembla versando il contenuto marcescente. Sarà necessario trovare qualche soluzione artigianale per tenerla assieme perchè come esce di fabbrica non può funzionare. Non restituisco l'articolo perchè ho gettato l'imballaggio. Ovviamente sconsiglio l'acquisto se non volete perdere un sacco di tempo.
