Step 1: Plug in VIXLW Video Capture to a USB port on your MCA or PC. Your computer will install it automatically
Step 2: Download and install OBS, Potplayer or QuickTime Player software (download link included).
Step 3: Connect VIXLW Video Capture to VHS player or analogue camcorder using the included RCA cable.
Step 4: Follow the instructions in the user manual to begin capturing/converting your videos.

This worked perfect. I have a dvd player that I haven’t used in years. My daughter rented a DVD from the library (the outsiders. A book she’s reading in school) and we realized that we can’t connect the dvd player to our new TV. This was exactly what we needed and now it worked perfectly. Easy to use and great price.

Got a vcr with rca outputs but my modern TV didn't have rca input ports. This converter helped me be able to hook up the vcr to the TV and now I can what my decades old vhs collection. Worked perfectly as described. I'm so pleased with this purchase, great quality!

I had an earlier version from another manufacturer that I wasted over an hour trying to install drivers for, etc. This device was literally plug and play for my Windows 10 machine. Recommended.

It's very disappointing when a company, selling their product, doesn't stand behind the integrity of their product. DigitNow video capture card does not work. Period! No one answers the customer service support telephone number and the emails offering a solution are non responsive and less than adequate. On line I've notice that there are a lot of people having the same problem without offering any kind of resolutions. If this doesn't work, what else do they sell that doesn't work either? They are quick to take your money, but are too slow to offer a solution. I guess that's how all companies work these days. STOP BUYING FROM COMPANIES THAT DON'T HAVE THE SUPPORT STRUCTURE TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS.

It works great and I like the 1080p switch from 720p, but this adapter unfortunately does not work with my PSP. It however works great with my GameCube!

After finding a stash of 30-year VHS tapes in my basement (of my kids growing up), I started researching possible ways to convert them to digital. And sending them off to a company wasn't a good option for me. Instead I took a chance and bought this device. And I couldn't be more satisfied with how EASY it was to hook up and use. There are cords on each end of the device. Ones that plug into a VCR (yeah, you're going to need one of those), and one that plugs into the USB on your computer. Then just install the OBS program. (Easy! Comes with the device). Insert the tape in your VCR. Press play on VCR. (Instructions with the software didn't include that step, so it took me a hard minute to figure that out! Ha!) When you see your content pop up your computer screen, (which for me was like a GIFT to see those old memories come through so clearly!), You just press "start recording" in the OBS program. I literally cried when I saw how well it worked. Salvaging these long-lost memories was very emotional! And not spending $$$ to send them off somewhere was so satisfying. Highly recommend!

Mein neuer LG-Fernseher hat keinen Audioeingang (rote und weiße RCA-Buchse), nur noch HDMI. Mit dem WIXLW ist das Problem gelöst und ich kann meinen alten Plattenspieler nun an einen HDMI-Eingang des Fernsehers anschließen. Funktioniert auf Anhieb problemlos. Die 5 Volt Betriebspannung für den WIXLW hole ich mir von einem USB-Port des Fernsehers. Ein entsprechendes USB-Kabel gehört zum Lieferumfang. Der Fernseher ist nun zur Musikbox ( Bild abgeschaltet) für meine fast 5 Jahrzehnte alten Vinyl-Platten geworden - einfach geil!
