My mom has over 100 45 vinyls from 1960s to '80s. Most are pre-1977. I was going to have some of them transferred to a micro-usb but the effort to label each song, break the songs, etc. is just too time consuming.The device did what it supposed to but it could have been nice to maybe have a mini amp as most record players go thru an amplifier and when you go directly from RP to PC, the sound is too low, which was the other reason I didn't want to mix these with all the CDs that I transferred already as the volume would go up and down between vinyl and CD.Maybe I was doing it wrong and didn't check every setting of the Audacity app.Overall, I gave it a 4 since it worked, and I managed to transfer and label few vinyls to mp3 but the volume and the software to work with was too much.

This worked great using Audacity to transfer old cassette recordings to MP3 files. No former audio training or experience was needed.

Connected my record player to my computer just fine, hard part was learning how to use Audacity to record the album and convert it to MP3!

It was great to find this that allowed me to be able to convert several vinyl records to MP3 so I can play the music anywhere now.
