Although it is written in manual that you have to buy HDMI cabel, you don't! They provide a whole set to connect to your TV. Very nice, simple to install and connect your devices to new TV. In case if you have any issues with pucture/sound, try to switch buttons on the converter, which changed a size of the screen but that helped me to get a sound. Highly recommend!

I bought this to replace a bulkier converter. I got sound but no picture. I'm a techy person and I could not get it to work. Returning.

I was actually pleased with the lack of input lag even if the picture was a bit gritty looking, and it worked for an hour the first time I used it. But when I set it up again 2 days ago it started to cut power every few minutes.It stays on just fine if there's no signal from a system going through it, but shortly after I turn on any device plugged into it all the lights go out and the power wont come back unless I unplug the USB cable and plug it back in, and then it goes dead again shortly after.

My MIL has a VCR and and older DVD player. She just got a new TV for Mother's Day, but had no way to plug her old devices into her tv as it only had one HDMI port and no RCA ports. I was able to hook both up with this simple contraption. There is a blue led light when switching between devices. I do wish it and the switch were bigger so she could see them better, but it gets the job done! Just know going in, it doesn't come with a power source, so you'll need to supply that yourself. Luckily I had collected several over the years with old cell phones.
