Do not buy this unless you don't mind 400 PSI test pressures. It does not appear to be a true Nitrogen Regulator as its pressure settings are to high and will damage equipment from my experience! The more expensive option that looks the same has a much lower pressure rating for test at around 300 psi while this has a test pressure around 400 PSI which can be to high for some HVAC equipment.

Worked well on my nitrogen tanks. Brass parts well built, heavy materials. Did not leak and seal was tight. Great tool for its use.

So far I am very happy with this regulator. It is heavy and seems to be solidly built. I have not testes the flow rates but just listing to them they sound to be in the ball park. I put a good set of gauges on the regulator to test the pressure it puts out in the test mode. It quickly went to about 550 PSI. It was very slowly creeping up but I am not concerned as I will not be leaving it turned on after the initial pressurization.After turning everything off I checked its pressure gauge. An hour later it had not moved so there do not seem to be any significant internal leaks.The control knob has very positive detents. Nothing feels cheap on this regulator. It will be a nice addition to my HVAC tool kit.
