This is the best fan for the money, privacy is fantastic, as people cannot see into your window, fit is great, as foam is provided to fit to any window, and it works fantastically. It can get noisy at higher power levels, but if it’s below the second power level, it’s fairly unnoticeable. Overall, it’s a really powerful fan that is really ridged. I may buy another one for another window for spring!

The unit is solid, sits well in the window. I like how I can reverse the air flow as needed for exhaust or fan.

I’m so happy I was finally able to find a fan that is truly quiet while still moving a good amount of air. I love the fact that I can set it in my window and get fresh air without constantly being reminded it is there. Medium and high speeds are much louder but are acceptable for the amount of air they move. Beware though: it is not possible to use this fan with a smart plug because it requires pressing the power button after plugging in. Also, it is very wide which may not fit in all windows.

I have always been a vornado fan. No pun intended. I luv the design and it does move air very well but I got this for my bedroom and it’s not a quiet as hoped. Now I did buy the Transom fan and it’s much much nicer. IMO. If u are looking at vornado products already then the extra $20 going from this to the Transom is not a deal breaker by any means. I wasted my time and should have just got the transom one in first place. If you want a low profile fan and noise level not an issue then this model prob will work for you. Other wise just buy the Transom version.

Purchased two fans. One is great and the other has steadily become louder and louder. Tried tech support for 20min only for them to hang up on me after filling out all information. Not the Vornado quality they used to be?
