How UV-C Light Works
UV-C radiation has been proven to be highly effective in removing the waterborne germs, because it can eliminate organisms’ ability to reproduce by destroying their DNA.
How VerterPure LED UV-C Filter Purifier Works
The LED UV can reach its peak irradiation very quickly, which means the purifier doesn't have to work all the time. It can switch between standby and active instantly.
The purifier is equipped with a flow switch and a UV reactor. When there is water flow (e.g., when you turn on the faucet), even it is as low as 0.3L/Min (0.08GPM), the flow switch will know and tell the UV reactor to work simultaneously.
This VerterPure purifier has been adequately tested before production, including:

Installation and Maintenance
Just need a 3-step installation:
1. Connect inlet with water pipeline.
2. Connect outlet with faucet.
3. Plug-in and turn on the faucet.
Multiple adapters are included to provide options of connection by NPT or Push-to-Connect.
No need to replace UVC lamps in its life time. Minimum maintenance required.
Versatile in Use
The machine is compact and durable. It can be used alone for water treatment in RV, Camper, Boat, Motorhome, Off-Grid livings, or along with RO (Reverse Osmosis) and well water filtration system, adds an extra protection before drinking water, refrigerator water, or ice maker.
Indicators
The machine operates on-demand, controlled by a smart flow sensor for automatic On/Off. It operates instantly only when there is water flow.
When it operates, the blue light will be ON. When water flow stops, the blue light will be OFF, indicating it is in standby status.
The timer shows real-time, accumulated operating time, making sure it is used within its life-time.

It leaked internally so I had to disassemble to fix it, seems to work fine now.

The unit was easy to install. However, the UV indicator light stopped working after less than two weeks. The unit was good while it lasted. Maybe I just got a lemon. Anyway, I've sent it back to Amazon. Disappointed with this purchase.

This ultraviolet water purifier is going to be a great tool if you have a water reservoir or holding tank. It is great for use in an RV or Boat where water reserves can sit for extended periods of time allowing microbes to form and grow. It’s relatively small and easy to use. The hardest part is getting power to it near a sink, as there isn’t always power near a sink, due to the risk of water and electricity mixing.
