What is a Valve Cover Gasket?
Valve cover gasket is designed to seal the valve cover to the surface of the engine cylinder head, the valve cover gasket prevents motor oil from leaking out of the joint part.
Pay attention when replace gasket:
* Pls use genuine gasket,wipe the two joint surfaces of engine and clean valve cover with a soft brush.
*Clean the valve cover with cleaning agent, clean the contact surface between the valve cover and cylinder head, install the valve cover gasket, apply gasket maker, and screw the screws diagonally from the middle to both sides.
*Don't scar the valve cover surface when carving debris.Tighten the fixing bolts of valve cover evenly,not too tight,which might hurt your cover.

This is the exact same gasket that Felpro sells that sells for an absolute outrageous price in the stores. You can buy a Felpro cheaper online but this is the exact same and still cheaper. But if you haven't changed the cover and you still have the original manufacturer cover than I advise you to buy a new aftermarket cover as you'll continue to get leaks because the oem cover has a defect in the mold for the cover. But do highly recommend this gasket. Fits perfectly. Installed easily. Worked great until the same leaks from prior started leaking again which are the same spots that everyone seems to have as well. Around the wells and the front left lower corner.

Gasket will not stay in valve cover for nothing while trying to install valve cover back. Finally got it in and it leaks far worse than it did before.
