Perfect for my 2007Jeep Compass. Had my new system welded and the size was perfect. Buy new muffler and resonator pipe or else you’ll need a welder. I bought these fixed it temporarily. Then day later had it welded with clamps. My lil work car quiet like a church mouse🤣

Wasn't as heavy as the old one from 1982 but of course none are but was heavy built and worked as intended.

Clamp worked very well. The bolt seems to be low-alloy iron, and I would expect it to be subject to rust. The receiver was higher alloy, the nuts were high-alloy polished steel. Odd combination, but it took a serious tightening with no problem.

Truly heavy duty and well made. Clamp won't deform when tightened on exhaust pipe. Text says 2 1/4 inch, but actual inside diameter is 2 1/2 " . This was a bit loose for my pipes. I like a snug fit so that when tightened the pipe tends to deform less.

I have ordered these clamps after the ones I have ordered from a online auto-parts site did not fit ( even with an extensive questionnaire about my car they have sent a guaranteed fit 4 1/2" clamp-possibly perfect fit for a Volvo truck, not for a Volvo passenger car) . The 2 1/4 " clamps were the perfect fit.
