There is not much bad to say about a Warn winch! It fits perfectly on my winch plate and was super easy to install. Warn Takes the time to prewire the winch for the exception of the negative cable which is not an issue. It is well constructed, and the synthetic line is very nice! The remote functioned perfectly in both wired and wireless modes right out of the box. The only complaints I have about this winch, which are more nit-picky. First the positive cable that connects directly to the battery could stand to be just a little bit longer. I had to reroute a couple times to get the tension off it. Second the fairlead hardware should match the fairlead and not be galvanized. They provide you with a really nice black fairlead and galvanized hardware (nothing a little paint can't fix). I know there are more budget friendly options out on the market that are good but if you can afford the investment i would highly recommend picking this bad boy up!

I purchased the Warn VR EVO 10S after researching for months. I looked at the Harbor Freight, Smittybilt, and others. I went with Warn due to the reputation, warranty, and price. With the rebate, it was only $50 more than the Badlands (Harbor Freight) and had a much better warranty and reputation. I had watched multiple videos on Youtube and saw that many needed some level of modification for various reasons. It took me less than 1 hour for the install on an EAG Bumper. Super easy, direct bolt on, no bumper removal needed, and phenomenal online and on the phone customer support. I am so glad I went with Warn!

This winch is very torquey (when dragging an old Jeep out of the weeds with flat tires I actually had to get in my Jeep and hold the brakes down as hard as I could to keep the winch from just dragging the Jeep it's installed on forward...) and it's got a nice slow reel-in speed which I prefer. I hate winches that are trying to compete for the Indy 500 and attempt to winch in faster than a racoon trying to break into a Cybertruck. The synthetic cable is also of good quality, and I prefer it to the steel cable mostly for safety sake, but also you can "tug" it for a really stuck vehicle with less of a worry of it snapping back and decapitating someone as if it were in the movie Highlander...All in all, a great winch for the money, and it looks clean and smooth, too. Much better than the old blocky bulky MileMarker I had on there that failed after two years...

Probably only needed an 8k winch but this one works great and is solid. Comes with both corded and cordless remote.

Warn has easy to install instructions. I later bought and isolated which is not pictured in these photos. I did not like the winch hook to the side.I had to remove the air box on the Jeep JT. Super easy for anyone who likes a wrench. Plus it made it way more easy to run the poser where I wanted it to the battery. Warn gives you 72†of wire wire is plenty for power install to the winch.Fog lights are easy to install. Remember just to pinch the black petons together and push the fog light out of its oem housing. See you tube if that does not make sense. I took my time over a weekend to do the bumper install as I was not in a hurry. But all total hours for both to install was 3.5 for bumper and 2.5 for winch. If your not familiar with jeep front ends I would again refer to you tube. Lots of fellow Jeepers posting and it is a great help! Happy Jeeping 😎

I bought this winch to replace an older Warn 9.5 ti that wasn't working properly (I'll probably try rebuilding). Everything was included to mount the new winch. Also included was the wired / wireless controller. The supplied positive and negative cables measured at 72 inches each which was just right for my application. I've only run the winch rope in and out the make sure it worked. Still need to pretension the rope before hitting the backcountry.Performance Pros shipped the winch in a very timely manner. Ordered on a Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend and received it the following Wednesday. Thank you.

I really debated whether to buy a Smittybilt X20 or a Warn EVO for a little more money. I finally decided to go with the Warn and so far I'm happy. The install was pretty straightforward and although I've only used the winch once it did what it should, and the wireless remote option is nice. The style of bumper I'm using does NOT allow me to use a winch cover, so time will tell how well the finish of the winch holds up.One note, the bolts for mounting the fairlead hawse plate were too short for my bumper, and I had to replace them with longer ones. Although I am using an aftermarket bumper (BAMF), it's only .25" thick steel so really no excuse for these bolts not being long enough.ALSO: Donna Marquita posted a negative review of the winch saying she couldn't get the winch to wind in. I would bet $100 she disengaged the winch to spool it out and forgot to move the handle back to engaged....

Always wanted this setup. Controller separated and mounted on top of fuse box on 2020 Dodge 2500 4x4.I have not put the winch to work yet but very pleased with setup. Happy with purchase.
