I love the design because it works like a pen and it’s way easier than regular nail polish brushes. A pen form is so much easier to use on your pet. It dries super fast which is obviously a plus. The color is bold although I used two coats but only to make sure I had an even coat. My only complaints are that when applying it doesn’t go on evenly but that’s to be expected from any nail polish. When applying it , it starts to dry fast so it starts to get a little gummy or caked up so you want to let the first coat dry before re-applying. You also want to make sure that when re-applying it that you don’t keep going over it back and forth because that’s when it starts getting caked up. Just apply one even stroke and wait for it to dry before going over it again. Plus, you have to apply another coat because when it dries it fades a little so in order to get it to look how it goes on, you have to apply a couple of coats. I think it’s a great product for the price and for what it’s being used for.This nail polish reminds me of those permanent metallic paint markers that you shake up like a can of spray paint. You know, the markers that are super watery when applying it and it bleeds out of the market and it smells really strong like spray paint. It’s pretty much just like that but doesn’t smell toxic like those markers.

I really wanted to love this. I have an albino German shepherd, so her nails are the perfect blank canvas for nail art. It doesnt smell bad and the colors are nice. They show up great on dogs with clear nails. However, since this is a liquid that dries extremely fast, it doesnt go on easily. You have continuously press the tip and shake it like a paint pen to keep the polish on the applicator tip, but it dries on the pen tip too, and I found that it goes on really streaky. It was still cute, any girl dog with pink nails is cute even if its streaky. However I would not buy this kind again, unless they troubleshoot the application.. unless I got a faulty one. Any tips?

Worst pen ever! Did not flow out to tip so could not apply to my toy poodle's nails. I've bought entire sets of other brands that work great. I'd never try this brand again. Total waste of money. Really wish I'd listened to the reviews that said the same thing but I really wanted red that looks red. Oh well. Not happening with this one!

I've never used pet nail polish before, but thought it would be fun for my labradoodle, Rosie. This product looks like art paint pens I've used before, so I thought I'd try it. My dog is curious and active, so I was a little worried how applying it would go. The instructions were clear on the pen and there was no mess involved at all. I will recommend giving your dog something to occupy him/her, like a chew toy so they don't try to lick or get their paws away.It dried really quickly- another thing I was worried about was getting the paint on my furniture. As soon as I applied it, it was pretty much dry.The only reason I would really give this product 4 stars and not 5 is because it stained Rosie's fur. She is white so its very apparent.The package recommends painting with white first so the color "pops" but I didn't, so I could see what it was like... it fades over time, but nothing I didn't expect.Overall, I'm happy I got this fun product for Rosie. Everyone says she's fabulous!

I made the assumption this was like paint, so you'd see it on any color nails. Works fine on my dog with white nails (chips really fast though). But my dog with dark nails, you can't see it at all.

Bought this for my 2 year old daughter. Dries FAST, non toxic, great colors!Cons:Color separates a bit. Requires a long shake before use. When the color comes out sheer, without any white/opaque, it tends to rub off in a few hours. When the color comes out opaque, thicker, with more white - it lasts as long as 'regular' nail polish.Overall a great product if you're looking for a quick drying, non-toxic polish. It literally dries in less than a minute. It has a slight smell though, so my guess is they use alcohol as the fast-drying, non-toxic solvent. Pen makes it so easy to touch up, I don't mind when it comes off too quickly. My daughter LOVES it! We've been using it since she was 2, and have finally used up our whole pen (she's 3 1/2 now). Everyone asks how I manage to paint her nails, and what I use. I'm ordering 3 more colors now because she loves having her nails painted!

Covered both white and black nails well. I have a fussy dog who is sensitive about having anything near her nails, but due to the design and quick-drying of this pen, I was able to do all her nails really easily, and fast.First pic is one quick coat, first time done. Afterwards I touched them up, and have added silver dots (which show up really well on the purple - hope it shows on the second pic). She doesn't mind it at all, and no smell. Purple is a nice colour, not too obvious when walking down the street (so husband approves!), but when meeting other dogs on the sidewalk, lots of compliments from other owners. :)

I bought this as a bit of a joke really, I was left unsupervised with my fiances bull mastiff bitch; Ruby Red Sox... Needless to say she was Ruby red claws by the time he returned! She didn't mind in the slightest and although I don't think dogs should really wear nail varnish, I think it's ok as a one off or for a special occasion. I have two Rottweilers and a staff and they are perfectly happy to let the kids do their nails and dress them up and actually enjoy the attention and interaction. It all depends on the dog. If the dog doesn't like it, just don't do it. Application was easy and with it being water based was all off within a few days. I won't be using it regularly or for the foreseeable, but that's just my preference, the prouduct was fine, delivery was quick and the dogs enjoyed their little pamper session.
