It works well. I did replace the pressure gauge to one that went to 60 psi. Somebody else has also reported that the threads need a ton of tape to get to seal, and I agree with this. I didn’t use the tape it came with, as it’s too thick in my opinion. Get yourself the blue tape as well as some thread sealant/thread dope, and tape it 3 to 4 times around so that it is pretty thick. Then apply the thread sealant on top of that and then snug it tight, and it seemed to do a really good job after that. Otherwise, I think it’s a good product. It’s not perfect so I didn’t give it a five star, but I think for theprice it’s actually a really good value.

first, the gauge does not work. second, the 3/4 in female pipe thread is way out of spec. very sloppy connectors in PVC that you must circle the tape about 12 times or more to get a quality no leak fit. buy a US made regulator that you can find between 30 and 35 bucks. you don't need to get a high class $100 regulator for your sprinkler system. just don't buy this one.
