They weigh so close to nothing it doesn’t make sense not to have them on every outdoor outing. They take up little room, keep you backside dry sitting on rocks and logs, and do provide padding to sit on at camp or taking a break. Get some you won’t be disappointed.

I purchased ahead of a picnic, but have been using it in a lot more scenarios than expected. It's lightweight, small (fits in an averaged size bum bag), and does a surprisingly great job at insulating and cushioning! I will be bringing this with me anytime I have a lunch or coffee on the patio to protect against hot or cold metal seats, or wet beches. Planning to get more to gift to my family members and a spare to keep in my car!

It was slightly smaller than I expected it to be. Folds up much smaller than I expected it to. It’s really comfortable. Weighs next to nothing

I have used these pads in camping situations, but started thinking about stashing one at work for those hard plastic or folding metal chairs. One in the truck for sitting on the tailgate (mine isn't upholstered), picnic tables, benches, etc. They are a handy barrier for outdoors after a light rain.
