The door seal delivered was absolutely fine. My mistake in not understanding that GE would design a dryer model with a seal that is not replaceable. Always match model # to part.

The instructions want you to take off the entirety of the door and unplug electrical. I simply took off one side and was able to slide the new one in. Seals the dish washer perfectly!

The seal worked as expected. The most difficult part was getting onto the door. Always scary when you’re looking at water possibly damaging a new floor, but my husband figured it out and there have been no leaks.

It does fit but it seems it’s not wide or long enough because after a month it began leaking at the corner of the dishwasher badly.
