This grinding disk is really aggressive, which is what I was looking for. The only thing I didn't care for is that after the first 1/4 inch is gone it wears out quickly, but the first bit lasts for quite a while. I was grinding off welds and torches metal. Overall it lasts about twice as long as a normal wheel and is three times faster.

Just the ticket for economical everyday use. Grinding welds, cleaning / smoothing, ferrous metal. The price is good, and they do a lot of grinding before they wear out.

now I can grind my not so perfect aluminum welds, and not worry about the grinding disc exploding on me

Overall they are pretty decent rocks. Cut the aluminum consistently and quickly but the only downfall to them is once they get a little under half worn the rock starts coming apart in chunks and I bought 40 and so far all have done that. Other then hot sharp skin piercing chunks getting thrown at ya around 8000 rpms they are pretty solid grinding rocks.

I ground off too much steel the first time I used them they cut so fast. For me they much longer than most other wheels I have used.
