We purchased this in May 2023 as our nearly 30 year old West Bend slow cooker suddenly stopped working. We wanted another West Bend since our previous cooker was great, reliable and dependable. What a difference 30 years makes! LOLThis has a very nice design and you can remove the pot and use it on the stove top. We always brown our meat before starting the slow cooking process so being able to remove the pot is very useful and convenient. We have used this six times so far and it works great! It is a wonderful look and excellent capacity for your slow cooker meals. The largest amount of meat we've put in has been just over 4 pounds and there was plenty of room for liquid/broth, vegetables and more ingredients. This has been a fantastic replacement slow cooker. It is easy to clean and use. Very reliable thus far.The only caveat I would add is it is a slow cooker, not a hurry up cooker. The one time we used it on high we overcooked the beef and it was a little tough. We've learned our lesson and use lower settings for a longer period of time and everything has been simply delicious.I don't have a use for the griddle as I have a 22" griddle so I can't comment to the quality of that.

My old slow cooker (similar to this one) finally died. And the hunt began for a replacement. I just want a simple cooker for slow simmer meals (like roast, spaghetti sauce, soups) that can be left unattended. I didn't want to spend $100's and I don't need electronics. Before I found this one, I tried a InstaPot (WAY too complicated...first clue they sell books on how to use it) plus it was too big to put under cabinet. Next a Crock Pot, good old stand by that's been around for years. Truly awful. The crock takes HOURS to heat up, the heat source is weak, and that damn crock is not fun to clean. Finally, I found this little gem. Oh the simplicity -- no manual needed. Fits in the cabinet too. But there's more -- glass lid fits snugly, so heat stays in. Heat source more powerful than expected. It says it can griddle, I believe it! One feature I love - you can put the pan on your stove to brown meat, then place on heating base. I cooked a 2 lb roast with potatoes and carrots in about 4 hours. Frozen meatballs with jar of spaghetti sauce - about an hour. Griddle, high, medium, low -- so easy. Once it gets bubbling, switch to low and leave it alone. And it was very affordable. Can't recommend it highly enough. Gotta go -- making soup!

I purchased this in January 2023. Ever since I used it the first time there is a knocking sound when it’s plugged in and cooking. Didn’t think anything of it but every time I used it it happened. I also noticed I had a slow cooker yesterday, on low. The liquid in the crockpot was boiling… On the low setting. When I contacted the company for technical support, I explained I purchased it in January, it’s been making this pinging noise since day one, and there’s an issue with the heat temp settings. For some reason I Said they needed to submit to see if it could be replaced. They emailed me they told me yes it could be replaced but they will be calling me in a short time to collect my $15 to ship a new one out. I explain to them that it should be under warranty. Most electronics come with a one year warranty, and when I heard back from the company, they told me that it’s only a 30 day warranty. I’ve never heard of such a thing. When I ask him about the hanging and banging when it’s cooking, they said usually after 20 uses that sound goes away. Well, they didn’t have an answer for me when I said, unless I use this every single day within the first 30 days, it’s still not gonna be on the wrong team , but that pinging noise if it doesn’t go away. Well, they have nothing to say to me and I would never buy this again because of the warranty situation.

I've had about 4 or 5 of these through the years. The last one I purchased in 2022 and is great and better than older ones... it cooks faster. It always cleans well and I like the variety of settings. This is the only slow cooker for me!

I had an older model for years, loved it. I thought I should update because the coating was wearing off. I like the shape of it and also the carrying case. But the temperature seems to run way hotter than my old one. I have to turn it down pretty low to keep it from boiling. So far I haven't had any issues with the clicking sound. Sadly I'm not sure this one will last as as long my other one.

This is the 3rd one that I've had. I received the first one as a gift back in the 80's. It actually still worked, but I started using it to melt beeswax, which really doesn't clean up well. I bought the second one in 2012 and used it several times a week, often using it to make bone broth, which has to simmer on low for 3-5 days. It is so easy to use and easier to lift, move, and clean because the pot is so light. I just got a new one because the Teflon is scratched and starting to wear off. I still plan to use that one when I need the extra cooking space and will use a slow cooker bag in it. The new one is just slightly wider and more square, which is actually easier to use and clean. It's great for pot roasts, roasting whole small chickens, soups, and easy one-pot meals like chili, coq au vin, lasagna, etc. I can put everything in the pot in the morning and have a great dinner later that day. The only thing I would change is to have an actual shut-off switch instead of unplugging to turn it off.

This slow cooker is the best and I can't cook a roast or make a bean soup without it. It's a must have for every kitchen in my opinion.

Easy to use. Cleans easy. No regrets. Love this crockpot. Cooks quicker than any other crockpot I have had. 4 breasts of chicken easily cooked within 3hrs. One hour on medium and 2 hrs. on Low. Love this !!!!!! Takes up small amt. of room on counter. Matches my stainless appliances. Bonus.

I've bought a few for gifts, as this one was also, and I own one myself.. Worth the money- big time!!! It's not heavy and awkward like huge crockpots are, it's so lightweight that if you drop it, the worst that will happen is a chip in the enamel perhaps or tiny dent, not a huge shattered ceramic/clay pot all shattered all over the floor or breaking your toes if they happen to be in the way- ouch! Cleanup a snap with the non stick interior.Great for anyone with limited hand strength/arthritic issues. The shape makes it easy to slide on a fridge shelf taking up way less space than an old crock put. Plenty of room inside and they even come a bit larger if you want a roomier one. I can't say enough positive things about it, and they seem to last forever. What more can I say!

We have used this product less than 10 times. Unfortunately the finish has peeled and started bubbling. The unit also clicks very loud when on warm so is annoying. Product looked nice and transports well when bringing a dish to a party but with finish peeling it’s just not worth the risk.

We had a problem with the first one; the teflon liner quickly started flaking and coming off. the replacement is better.
