great set of bands. I'd previously purchased the 'large rubber band' style bands and ended up returning those. These are much, much better. The handles, ankle straps and metal D clips are very sturdy. They also provide a far better range of resistance. The other 'rubber bands' had their peak resistance far outside of my normal range of motion, and it was far too cumbersome to get any workout from them. With these, no issues (for reference, I'm about 5-10 and the range of motion for butterflies and curls is great.

I wanted to wait until I had some time to use these and now I can say that I am so happy I bought these back in March. If you're stuck at home and need to workout these are great. The bands are versatile that you can workout almost every major muscle group you'd hit at the gym. I was a little concerned that after 2-3 months of daily use the bands would snap or be stretched out too much but so far they're still working great. And really resistance wise you can combine bands to increase resistance enough that you can feel like you've gotten a good pump. It takes a bit getting used to if you miss your freeweights or machines but after months of home workouts I have to admit I've gotten great results maintaining my gains from the gym. From opening the box, you get a lot for your money; this is a great value and a godsend for those who are out of the gym and have to rely on homeworkouts. My only complaint is the door anchor can make certain workouts awkward, but that's really just down to whatever kind of doors you have in your home. Depending on our set up you may want to get 2 anchors or maybe one of those anchors that wrap around the whole door and have multiple loops and anchor points but that's really just up to you.Overall this a great product and I would recommend it as an investment for homeworkouts. I don't know how I would have survived quarantine this long without them.Update: I wanted to provide some more information. After 6 months of almost daily use, one the bands finally snapped. Obviously not a big deal; I certainly was happy and got my money's worth. The bands were certainly durable and allowed me to stay in shape. I was ready to buy a new replacement set but I asked Whatafit if by some chance there was some warranty on the band. They sent me a whole replacement set! No problem no fighting, just sent them a pic of the broken band and they were on it. I can't say enough how good this product and this company is. I have totally changed my opinion on the value of bands for working out and I would definitely buy from this company. 5 stars .

Very nice quality but it has a noticeable odor, which I guess is to be expected. Just a fair warning though!

It seems to be a good product at this point. No way to truly know until I've used the product for awhile. Obviously my review will change if an elastic band or two breaks and snaps me in the back of the head or worse.

I could not be happier with them! I use these to do various back exercises (simulating pullups) since my condo does not have a proper area for a pullup bar placement. I went ahead and steadily added all of the bands to hit 150 1bs. They hold firm, fit in my door, and are a wonderful and critical addition to my workouts. I am leaving a review now because I want to go past 150 lbs, and I am buying another set!

Resistance Tubes or Resistance Bands.First, a little refresher, this product is a resistance "tube". Many people, (myself included) have often used the term interchangeably to refer to two completely different types of equipment for exercise. A tube is the product I am writing the review for and will refer to them as such throughout the duration of my experience.History with Weight LiftingI started out with body weight exercises in my room from a navy seals manual. After enough diet and body weight exercise, I gained 30lbs. I switched exclusively to weight training for overall strength and built a routine I followed for the next 7 years. Unfortunately, the pandemic happened -- then -- the gym and weights became extremely scarce. Our living situation forced me to downsize the options I could pursue gym wise from a bench, plates and a variety of bars/dumbbells to a minimalist approach to building strength, muscle and endurance.Bands/Tubes and Building the big 3I mentioned routines that many would be familiar with in building the "Big 3" found in using "weights" or "free weights". Yes, you can build muscle with weight training, I myself, frowned upon the use of tubes as a silly way of building any kind of strength, muscle and endurance. I focused primarily on the bench and machines for movements I perform now using these resistance tubes exclusively to build the big 3.After getting rid of the free weights that took up precious space around the house, I strived for a new approach to my routine. These tubes, take up so little space, I went from using the bag to a clear plastic case that sits in my closet. I've tailored my routine around 3-4 days of active work-outs, breaking down my muscle groups into each day. For me and my routine, I perform 4 to 5 exercises per muscle on those days. These are not isolated to using the resistance tubes, but a combination of bodyweight exercises. In about 1 year of use, I am growing towards a 'leaner' but 'strong' build than I did with dumbbells, bars and machines. A little more detail below. How Do I Build Muscle/Strength/Endurance with $30 tubes?Weights, Machines, Bars, etc all do basically the same thing. They add "resistance" to your movements while your muscles respond to that resistance by growing after repetitive sets with time. Can you accomplish this with a set of $30 tubes and body weight exercises? Yes. How?YouTube & Google, Trial and Error. Of course no one wants to hear how they have to 'test out what works for their body' but if you are looking for a quick fix to your problems -- then tubes are not for you. If you want to build muscle, strength and endurance -- understand you have to be patient, take your time and adjust the routine around what you body is telling you. I have personally changed my routine through the months to eventually find 'sweet spots' to promote the physique that I am after.Final thoughtsExtremely durable, you can add more tubes to increase the overall resistance by purchasing an additional set. Combining two sets of tubes will give you 300lbs of total resistance. I'd recommend these as an all in one exercise companion for us on a budget. Keep in mind, diet and nutrition go a long way to promote muscle growth and will help by staying disciplined and planning out for a long haul. Increase resistance slowly, give your body time to recover and you will see gains and improvement with these tubes.
