I did notice a difference between my more coach traditional whistle and this one. It works better in the gym and on the field as well with less effort. It's sturdy, great size for key rings and light weight Definitely happy with my purchase. Gave the other one to the other coach who likes it as well.

Buying this for a week in kauai because some of these hikes are dangerous. This is lightweight and it doesn't have anything sharp added to it so I can travel with it. I tested the whistle and it's not as loud as I'd hoped but it will be okay.

My whistles arrived right on time and are fantastic quality.I used to keep a metal whistle on my keychain for emergencies and it warped and was no longer loud. Also, the cork ball inside expanded in the rain and got stuck. These whistles are sleek and small enough to fit wherever I put my keys and they are LOUD!I love that they both come with lanyards as well as clips…so easy to take anywhere you might need them.

I use this at work, I also purchased a retractable holder. The whistle is loud enough to draw attention but not obnoxiously loud that it hurts your ears. It is simple, small and effective.

I have been hiking for health reasons this last summer. I got several of these to clip to my water bottle and purse in case of trouble. I'm an old lady and some of the parks are rather remote and somewhat "empty" so this is a nice peace of mind thing in case I have a problem, get lost or fall down.
