This whistle is loud. It is very lightweight. The reason for only four stars is the sound is not that great. That’s just my opinion. The whistle is nice.Update: I changed it to 5 stars. The sound is the amount of air you blow. Sound is good. My dog’s response is immediate.

Okay I honesty didn’t really need this whistle but recently put together a “bug out bag†in case the world ends and decided it needed this in it. Cool little whistle. Easy to use. Loud. Reliable. Seems to be weather proof. Works for me. Hopefully never need to actually use it though.

Small, well-made, attractive. But not very loud. It's not too big to carry around and is perfect key chain. Aluminium built whistle has optimum length but slightly more wide. This is nice gift for small kids and I recommend it.

You want loud? This whistle is the one. Even without the little ball inside like many whistles, it still delivers a loud sound. I use mine on the school playground.

Very very loud! I bought it for recess duty and it kind of numbs the ears. This is made very well and will lady a long time.
