Last year we went skiing in Canada and found an awesome patch of trees that we and our kids could ski through. We did it over an over the few days we were there. It had fun little bumps and turns that we all found joy in. Except for when our son took a wrong turn and fell in a patch of powder and couldn't get out and we couldn't find him. My husband yelled his name in panic for a good 15-20 minutes and no response. He finally found him and our son was fine and had been yelling back, but was not heard. This scary moment made me buy safety whistles for our whole family and I was happy to find a pack for 4 for our family of 4. I easily secured them in each of our jackets where they will stay. They work great, light weight and easy to secure by looping them around themselves onto a zipper strap in our jackets. Highly recommend!!

I use it kayaking, if I need help. I have one attached to the outside of my purse. It’s LOUD and I am sure would be a real attention grabber

Have one attached to each life jacket and keep one on my are on my paddle board love them especially when the kiddos are in the kayaks

Disappointing: The strings / lanyards were not attached to the whistles, the strings came in different lengths, and no instructions to attach to the whistle.

Simple whistles that are low profile and do not rattle. I bought the four pack so I do not need to transfer them from pdf to hiking camel-bak to mountain biking camel-bak. Gave one to the wife too. Never know when you'll be in an emergency and blowing a whistle is much more effective than yelling.

Nice and loud. Hopefully will never need to use them, but considered essential when hiking in the hills.
