My daughter wears a girls L in pants, so we ordered these shorts in L, and they were a good fit. She has a petite, slim build so there was a little room but still good enough to wear in the water, and she said they were comfortable. The shorts are a little on the longer side, but I appreciate that they are modest.

For perfect on a 6 yr old! Swim suits seem to be so loose in the crotch so these are great bottoms to keep covered up!

These swim shorts fit my daughter well and were true to size. They’ve held up well in chlorinated water. The one flaw is that the built-in underwear create a visible panty line.

I ordered these shorts in size small for my 7 year old, but they fit way too small. They are better sized for my younger daughter, who wears size 5T. There is very little stretch to the stiff material, especially at the seams, so they feel a bit like compression shorts. I do understand wanting them to fit snug for swim shorts, but not to the point of feeling uncomfortably tight. The quality seems decent otherwise, and my daughter loves the bright orange color of the "tomato red" option. There are better options out there, but these will work if you are able to order 2 sizes up from what you actually need.

I got a pair for each of my girls and they love them. Comfy. Work as modest swimwear or workout shorts. A great staple. I line dry all fabrics like this so they held up all summer and probably will next summer too.
