I used the larger brush to make several coatings on the main portions of the cake then the smaller brush to get around the chocolate frosting. These brushes made cake painting easy. I used a white base of icing, refrigerated it until hardened then painted the entire cake gold. I took breaks to refrigerate the cake for 15 minutes to let it dry and firm up.

These brushes have been perfect for dusting cornstarch on my custom sugar cookies! I had a difficult time finding the right brush for the job but once I received these they quickly became my go-to brushes. I haven’t experienced any bristles coming loose, which is a definite plus.
