This is an excellent home slicer. It is easy to clean, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I have used it to slice cheese, and am impressed that it does not bog down and get slowed by cheese as it is sliced. Blade adjustment is easier than other products I have used in the past. I look forward to using it for other food items in the future.

This was a open box and it did need a good cleaning after simple disassembling. Works great and can slice pepperoni at nearly paper thin. Mind your fingers!

This was a Christmas present for someone that has the beginnings of arthritis and was using a knife to thin ice meats. They use this all the time and love it.

First, it arrived a day before it was supposed to so that's a + in my book. #2 it sliced bread so nicely and that blade is sharp. Everything was in the box and it's so simple to use. Can't wait to chip some sirloin for cheese steaks . I'll do a video and a long term follow up, but this slicer seems to be just the ticket for the weekend cook/baker that I am lol.

While the blade is 7 inches, the tray and guide restrict the size of whatever you are cutting too substantially less than that. It does however make a very nice slice as long as the piece being cut is short. The cutting action is smooth, but slices are not easy to catch in your hand because and they drop down onto the opposite side of the machine. There is no catch tray, and it gets messy with small slices.

It is good for sandwich style bread and cheeses. A little on the loud side but for the price...i'm not complaining.
