I bought this for my Harley. It gets very heated in summer from the engine. I used it one summer of riding and it started melting and burning the underneath area.

I was so excited to get this for my motorcycle, it was supposed to block some heat from my legs.It installs easily. It seems really well made. It did not work well with my bike, Kawasaki Vulcan 900It went on nicely, it looked good. But it didn't really block the heat where I needed it to, it also burned on the pipe, which I was under the impression that it would not do that. It barely touched the pipe.

2007 Harley Electra Glide Ultra Classic.While love the look it just does not really do the job without burning up on the pipes. The other deflector I bought for my wife's bike does a better job. And it was cheaper.
