I got this abacus to help my child with early math skills, and while it serves its purpose, it's much lighter than expected. The wood is smooth with no splinters, and the beads slide well, though a few are slightly sticky.Pros:âœ”ï¸ Great for Early Math – Helps with counting, fine motor skills, and color recognition.âœ”ï¸ Smooth, Safe Finish – No rough edges or splinters, which is important for little hands.âœ”ï¸ Compact & Portable – Easy for kids to carry around and store.Cons:âž– Very Lightweight – The frame is thin and tips over easily, so younger kids might struggle with it.âž– Some Beads Stick – A few require extra effort to slide, which can be frustrating for little ones.âž– Smaller Than Expected – Pay attention to the dimensions; it’s not as big as it looks in the photos.Overall, it’s a cute and functional educational toy, but I wish it were a bit sturdier. If you’re looking for something durable for younger toddlers, you may want a heavier option, but for gentle play and early learning, it’s a good budget-friendly choice!

This wooden colorful abacus is nicely made and smooth to the touch. ( no splinters) This is a nice learning toy to help kids learn colors, improve on their counting skills, and work on fine motor skills. It is very small, though the dimensions are given in the description I sometimes tend to not pay to much attention to that. I just go by what the photo is showing and it usually looks so much bigger. There is a plus side to this, it makes it much easier for tots to carry around. I think this type of toy should be made much bigger so it would be easier for small children to play with. 3 star for size.

I bought this to teach my son counting and math and so far it is working out great.I like that it is made out of wood not plastic and the beads are brightly colored. The beads all slide easily with the exception of 1 that sticks. The abacus is well made and stable but I do wish that it was made with thicker wood. As is I’m happy with the product.I did give 4 nor 5 stars because I wish it was more robust. With that said the wood is nice and well finished. No splinters or rough areas anywhere.

I love this for my toddlers! This is perfect for them when learning colors and also for counting. It’s great for them to use for one to one correspondence when counting. It’s made pretty well too!

This unit is pretty lightweight which it could be a pros or cons depends on how you see it so I'm not deducting any star for that. However I noticed some beads does not slide across smoothly and require more efforts than other beads, so there is my deduction of star for quality control. The frame itself is pretty well built, I can see that it will able to take some beating, as it will be used by a child.Beside that this is a good tool for my kid to learn how to count and hopefully help with his visualization.

Got this for my son to start teaching him how to count. The counting beads and frame feel cheaply made. The wooden frame has almost no weight to it compared to other abacus tools. This one tips over very easy.
