I'm new to needle felting and so I definitely fit the 'beginner' level of this starter kit. I've done a few simple things like making ornaments with cookie cutter forms. This is my first attempt at three dimensional shaping. I've watched the tutorial videos and they're well done and easy to follow. I like the pace and how they are informative. I can pause, try, rewatch, and move on.The felt base has the printed image on it. The kit really does contain everything you need to get started. The colors are very close to what's in the image. This is to be expected with natural textiles. I got the wild poppies kit and I love the colors I received. I The needles are nice and sharp. This would make a wonderful gift for any crafter interested in trying needle felting. This is helping me hone my skills and grow in my abilities. My niece has toyed with my supplies when she visits and I think this kit from Wonafa will be a great thing for her to get involved in. I'll let her pick which one she wants to try and get her that for her next visit. I can't wait to chat and visit with her while we felt together! 10 out of 10 from me!

Great. Plenty of wool that made for a lovely project. I would have given 5 stars but I could not get the canvas on the frame. If there is a trick to it, it should have been in the directions.

It’s easy, even for beginners. The instructions are good, except there is nothing telling you how to squeeze the finished product in the wood ring frame. the felt is just too fat, and the ring does not open far enough. I’m hoping the seller reads this and adds a “framing video†soon. The current price of less than $12 (using the 5% coupon) is a good value for a fun and beautiful project.
