Wood Burning Made Easy - SUIUBUY Wood Burning Pen - How To Use ?
- PREP WOOD SURFACE - Use hardwood blocks (high density without leakage), prep the surface with sandpaper (least 220 grit)
- SUCK DRY NIB INK - Shake your scorch pen, press the refill until the refill is saturated and the ink flows out (Use paper towels to dry the nib ink)
- APPLY YOUR DESIGN - Draw your design either with a stencil or free hand (Apply a shallow layer of ink to the design)
- KEEP HEAT SOURCE MOVING - Heat with a heat gun of 1500 watts or more (460°F or more) , until the desired effect is achieved
- SEAL AND PROTECT THE FINISHED DIY WORK - Use oil-based coating, make the work never fade

I didn’t know if I would like the paste or the pen better so I got both. This is far superior to the paste. Lines are crisp and clean. I also didn’t have to concentrate the heat as much as I did with the paste so, with careful use, you can avoid the scorch marks around the design.

This works as expected. Easy to use and the results were great. I haven’t tried the actual scorch pen but this worked perfectly for my crafts.

This is a great concept but the pens bleed and make the burn lines ugly, not crisp, & blurry. I will continue to use and update if I can figure out how to keep this from happening.

The tree was done with the scorch pen and its super dark! But the scorch paste didn't come out as dark. So, if you want super dark burn effect use this pen. It does stink so have good ventilation and depending on the type of wood it does have a sticky finish for about 3 days. So keep that in mind.

I was very excited to use this product. It bled on the wood so unable to get crisp burns. I ended up returning the item. Very disappointed

Just tried out amazing works great. Love that it comes with 2 different tips for application. Burns quick and clean. Will bleed a bit if you don't sand down.

I Hope this helps people who are having issues with wood scorch pro markers.There are certain woods this will not work on. If your wood is very porous and has marks from cutting. No matter how you sand it, it will bleed.I used this on bamboo cutting boards and it worked great. I also put the ink in the middle if the letters and design and then pushed it out with my finger. This really worked on the bamboo, but not the coasters.

I bought this to try cutting my wood burning time down. Unfortunately this product is terrible. Looks like I used marker on the wood and it smears. The burning process only actually burns the chemical and not the wood itself. Projects won’t even look good.Spend the time and money buying a wood burning tool. Your project will look better.

created an outdoor sign and left it out to dry completely. Was easy to use product and sign looked great until next morning. The dampness of the night air must of hit it and the whole sign ran like mascara when crying. very disappointed. Will seek tips and try again. If better results will modify this review.

I’m sure it depends on the material you are using it on, but it was bleeding along the wood grain so bad for me.
