This is a much more affordable option for a collection bag. I have an old MTD yardman chipper/shredder with the plastic chutes. Picked it up for a couple hundred dollars and really hadn’t had much experience with them. I didn’t realize what volume of air comes out the unloading chute on them so I decided to pick up a collection bag to keep the mess collected. This bag is real nice quality and has like a double nylon mesh. It’s fine enough to keep the big chips in and let the fine saw dust pass through. It is a bit dusty but it breathes really good so the chipper keeps it blowing through perfectly to fill the end of the bag first. I’m really glad I ended up getting this one instead of the $27 one on here. I will definitely have to make a wood frame around the outlet. There’s not really anything on the end to keep it from slipping off on mine. No big deal a 4’ section of 1x2 is like $4. This bag feels like it will last a long while. It’s like that abrasion resistant wire or hose guard so it doesn’t seem to snag on things which will keep it from getting holes. Definitely can’t wait to mod my chipper for it. It’s also easy to unload. Slipped it right into a yard bag.

The bag that came with my wood chipper lasted maybe 5 uses before exhibiting massive holes in the fabric. So I needed a sturdier option and found this in my search. I've been using it so far with excellent results! It's strong, stays in place, and holds the debris really well. Love it!

We purchased this for our Troy Bilt wood chipper. The drawstring fits nicely around.the chipper and stays attached while in use. When full the bag is a little heavy, but not too heavy to carry. It has held up very nicely chipping wood from our 3 acres of woods. I highly recommend this product.

This bag is the perfect size to fill my wheelbarrow when the bag is full. I've filled it 50 or 60 (maybe more, who's counting?) times with my Troybilt chipper shredder, and it doesn't show any wear. The mesh is a lot finer than the original bag (from around 1995), and the only complaint I MIGHT have is that I can't see how full the bag is compared to the old one (not sure if it's because the bag is black rather than white, or that the mesh is finer, or both). That's not really a complaint, and checking the bag near the chute when it looks like it's getting close works fine.It fits on the chute great, easy to cinch down for a snug fit where it grips the chipper/shredder. And it's much cheaper than the replacement OEM one.

I see why he calls him self the bag guy….this bag is made very well and better price then any other OEM or aftermarket bag… in my last picture you can see I made the wooden bracket like the seller made for his so it really fit on there but it would of still worked no problom with out the wooden bracket! Trust me when I say I am a small engine mechanic for a living and will only use OEM parts but this bag is an exception!!! I’m going to be buying the 24x61 bag the seller makes next!I have no complaints but to make this even better it would be nice to have 1 bigger handle in the middle or 2 small handles on the right and left sewed in at the bottom for dumping. But that is only a suggestion!

Heavy duty. Im confident it will last much longer than the original bag that was included with the chipper/shredder.

Works very well and is easy to secure to the chipper and fills nicely with the wood mulch. Used it yesterday for several hours to make a bunch of mulch. Good Product!

Great bag for wood and leaves. Does not work for mulching hay for feeding livestock because the bag is too porous, and the fines end up in the air not in the feed.
