Just what I needed to fill holes in my 100 year-old window frame. I carefully painted over the holes in the end and it’s not noticeable at all.

I do a lot of wood projects and repairs, so this wood filler comes in handy. It is easy to use and sand. I took a star off because it takes a while to dry and slows down the process a bit in comparison to other fillers. Still, it does what it says.

This wood putty filler worked great for repairing some scratches and small holes in the wood around the house. The color matched reasonably well, and it was easy to apply and sand smooth. It's paintable and stainable, which is a plus. The 16-ounce container is a good size for multiple projects. Overall, a solid wood filler for home repairs.

I really wanted to like this wood filler. It looks like it would work great for filling small cracks/holes due to the fine consistency of the material. However, the curing time was way too long for my patience. The filler does not fully cure for about 24 hours per the packaging. Most fillers are more like an hour or two. Also, this key detail is absent from the actual product container. It’s only on the outer box.Unfortunately, this was a total dealbreaker for me and so I bought a faster drying alternative locally when I went to do my project.

What is in the box: It comes with enough wood filler to repair hundreds of small (dime sized) imperfections in wood, two gloves, and a couple spatulas. Importantly, the container is double sealed with an internal cap and the screw on cap. This is important because it means you won't go back to this and find a dried out jar of filler (I've been through this a few times).Does it work?: Yes, it is creamier and smoother than most wood fillers and feels more like a molding clay than the gritty texture of other wood fillers. It may be because there appears to be no wood fibers in the filler and is predominantly a polymer formula. I've filled a couple pieces with this and it adheres well to wood and is sandable afterwards. It paints over well and is relatively easy to work with. What would I change: The only criticism is the texture of the filler. It is a bit too smooth to fill large voids. It does not shrink much but there is a small shape change that more gritty fillers do not undergo. So if you use this to fill a large void, you will have to do it in stages to have the best outcome.

Easy to use wood filler for small projects. Due to its creamy consistency, it's not good for big holes. Although, for small holes, it's very nice: smooth, sandable and paintable. It does has a very long cure time, so take that into consideration before starting your project.
