The Ourhom Heat Powered Fans are not designed to blast air in the same way a cooling fan would, but instead generates a gentle airflow around the room. You will not feel gusts of air coming from the fan, but instead you’ll notice a more comfortable, even temperature throughout your living space.
The ideal operating temperature of a stove fan is between 205°C and 345°C. Our products come with a fireplace thermometer to check the temperature for overheating, it also reduces the risk of overburning your log burner.
- Ensure your fan is positioned on a flat even surface
- Do NOT attempt to move the stove fan while it is spinning
- Always wait for the stove fan to cool down before handling
As your burner heats up, the fan blades will begin to turn, moving hot air—which would otherwise simply rise to the ceiling—throughout the room, helping make it warmer. This movement is powered purely by the heat energy generated by the burner.

I used this product with a Portable Buddy heater. The quality of this product is EXCELLENT. It is VERY QUIET, almost silent. It moves more air than I expected. The clip works, but is not very sturdy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I purchased this fan 2 months ago, worked good for first month & 1/2 ( just past the return time) now it won’t stay spinning no matter what I do.

Had purchased this fan for a Big Buddy heater that is the primary source of heat @ my off grid cabin. Saw a few YouTube videos that showed how to mount these really simple. I used a heavy gage wire that could hold the fan in place without being permanently mounted and wire not be warped by the heat. Laced the wire between the grill and it sets perfectly. This thing works way better than the fan that's inside the BB heater, no more batteries! It's quiet, effective and worth the price, very pleased with this purchase! The temp gage and glove were nice added bonuses!

We bought 2 to put on wood stove. It would have gotten 5 stars, but there were a few times I had to spin them to get them going. Also, we had to put a large fan behind the stove because we have such an oversized, open room.

Great customer service. My fan stopped working after a few weeks. I was unable to return the product but they still gave me a full refund. I will be buying another fan just because of the great customer service.

Product was as described, however I found the quality to be lacking. The box did not appear damaged, however both blades are off balance and overall the fan is relatively small - affecting it's ability to produce adequate (or even noticable airflow).The fan works as described, reaching full RPMs around 350°F. I would not recommend this size fan for moving air around a mid-large size room, but may be effective at smaller sizes (bedroom or bathroom)

We bought this incase the power goes out and needed this for the woodstove to help distribute the heat. It works great. Also helps move heat out of the corner wall as it sits on top of the stove.

The electric fan on my big buddy heater broke. Bought this fan and find it does just about as good of a job as the electric fan did. Original set up was a little finicky, had to cut 1 bar to make it fit but easy enough!

I was able to use this heater fan only once, then it broke, because it was not properly welded.the fan broke away from the spindle.this made the heater fan noisy, and innaficeint for blowing any heat, it doesn't work anymore.

I maybe expect more without realizing this is a very small fan. Works as advertised but should hav bought a much bigger one.
