Perfect little spindles. Consistent quality and size. They hold up without splintering using power toolsâ€” I used a mini table saw to cut grooves in the sides, included a pic of one I literally tore up on two sides and it still didnâ€™t split. Great Light color, smooth with no burrs and needs only minimal sanding to be finish ready. Iâ€™m very happy with product and will definitely buy from this company again.

I needed 20 of these so ordered 2 packs of 12. Each package is marked 12 pieces, but actually has 25 per pack.The finish is fine on these and they are consistently 9" long. However, the diameter of the ends varies enough that the holes have to be custom sized. In the packages I received, the diameter varied from 47/128-7/16. There was only one at 7/16, but almost none were 3/8 at both ends. In fact, typically, one end was 3/8 and the other was either 13/32 or 25/64. Doesn't sound like a lot of difference, but it is enough that the spindles will not fit in the holes.

Bought 12 spindles and they arrived in an open bag, poor packaging, but they do appear to be all the same length, and shape. When I went to mic them to drill the holes for the spindles, I found the diameters of the spindles to be very different. From the smallest to the largest was 4 drill bit sizes apart. I ended up putting the spindles on my lathe and turned them down to a similar diameter. Quality control missed that one I guess, solid product just expect to put in extra time to get them to fit in your project.
