How it all works?
1st step collect the flowers you like
If you have found your favourite flowers to press then place them between our kit for drying. Make sure they aren't too wet, otherwise you wont get the results wanted. Excess water can be drained by placing flowers between kitchen roll first. Flower press should be also stored in a dry place with a good airflow.
2nd step use the herbarium journal to store your dried flowers
Herbarium journal is a unique way to store your colourful dried flowers and mark down simple information about them - For example where did you find them and where do they usually grow or if you feel even more factual you can even mark down what is their scientific name!
3rd step keep collecting plants and don't forget to check your awesome collection every once in a while

I gave this wooden flower press to my girlfriend for Christmas, and she loves it! Since I've gifted it to her, she's had at least 5 pages of flowers being pressed at a time. She says it is super easy to use and she can easily screw and unscrew the press without any tools! There's not a day that goes by where this flower press isn't in use! So far, she has filled up about 10 pages of the included journal with pressed flowers!

Was excited to take this on a hiking trip. Grabbed it as is and left only to find that the mechanism that makes it work was not included. Sort of useless without the screws. I checked the packaging like 3 times.

I am really impressed with this flower press kit. We have so many different kinds of trees and flowers on our property that I wanted to start cataloging. Many years ago I would dry flowers the old fashioned way in wax paper in books. Many times I have forgotten them and years later found flowers in books. LOL! Didn't even think that there might be a kit like this I could be using. It comes with the press, book, and instructions. The press is good quality with metal screws to get a tight press. The pages of the book are good quality, thick pages with lines to write date, place, name of plant, etc. The flower pressing wood boards are 7" with six pieces of cardboard. The notebook is approximately 9 x 7. Has a very pretty design on the covers. This would make a very nice gift for a plant or flower lover.

While the journal and press are beautiful and seem to be well made, one of the pieces used to screw onto the bolt in order to squeeze the press is missing its threads making it unusable. Disappointing as everything else is perfect and I would love to be able to use this :(

Nice basic kit for pressing flowers. It comes with everything you need, including the wax paper to keep the flowers from bleeding into the pressing blocks. We haven't used it yet due to no flowers blooming, but can't wait to try it out.
