One reed plays fine, the other is completely unplayable due to the wire piece not tight enough to keep reeds together

The sound quality is what you make of it. I did have to make some adjustments to make the reed functional to me. Easy to use and overall value is okay. Quality of the material used is also okay. These reeds helped me out in a pinch when I had no time to make my own.

I couldn’t get a sound out of these unless I pinched them together with my fingers. I ended up driving 30 minutes to a music store to get another reed that worked really well.I bought these reeds to treat out an oboe. There is no way that they are beginner reeds. Maybe an advanced player could use them, but they’re specifically marked for beginners.
