Made great thank you gifts for my son's birthday party. Handed them out as the boys were leaving and they all started blowing them at once. They're actually quite loud when you get ten or more kids doing it at the same time. A good bit of fun for the boys.

I bought these for a polar express party in my 3 year old preschool class. They had a hard time getting it to whistle. (Which could be a positive for parents) it took some practice, but it was even hard for me to get a real train whistle sound out of it. Definitely doesn’t sound like a train whistle, but it worked well for the party.

The whistles looks dirty and give off a nice mild sound however, they are not the big size train whistles, that you most likely are familiar with these are much smaller and thinner..

They looked cute, but I unwrapped one and blew it I AND LITERALLY A BLAST OF SAWDUST CAME OUT AND WENT IN MY EYES.Then I tapped it on the counter and a pile of sawdust came out of the whistle.And the whistle doesn’t even work.Zero stars of I could. Absolutely terrible.

Have had several train whistles - as we use them company wise. This is - by far - the worst.Low, not so train-like sound.Recommend other solutions
