Just buy it! It is much cheaper than the hardware stores. They functions as they should. The size of it is as described. The grip works like it should. The build is like any other vice grip. You can't go wrong for the price when it's literally a 1/3 the price they charge at Lowes and Home Depot.

This is not the highest quality tool you will ever use. It is something I keep in my backpack tool kit to help get me out of a pinch when I need pliers that can lock. They are small and work for a lot of stuff. The fit and finish aren’t the best but overall a good value for the money.

This works well with a strong grip for difficult jobs loosens stuck bolts, nuts, or screws, & is the grip size is easily adjustable. This is an item that works as advertised for an affordable price.

These come soaked in oil to try to prevent rust during storage. Didn’t help. The screw area is rusted and won’t budge. The metal is cheap. The treaded part is sharp as in fill cut your fingers. Another sign of poor craftsmanship. Or may be the best that can be done with that poor quality metal. Save yourself some money and headache. But a brand name from the hardware store where you can see , feel, and test it.

These little pliers came with jaws locked closed. I have strong hands, but could not open these pliers. The release handle and the screw adjuster were both frozen. I have used vice grip pliers for many years, and these are the worst. Garbage only!
