I often use these chain wrenches as a prop while I’m welding pipe. This extension added on to a 48†chain wrench allows me to have an adjustable point to get stable and comfortable welding 16†pipe in position.

A bit hard to install. Take your time and make sure it's centered where you install the pin. Extremely useful tool for working on anything big/odd-shaped/or seized with rust. Made short work out of removing 20 year old OEM shocks on my son's Jeep XJ when I installed the new suspension. Buy this and the accompanying chain vise even if you don't presently have a use in mind if you're a DIY type. It will save you hours of frustration!

When I bought my extension chain, it didn't come with an extra screw, plus I've been looking everywhere to see how to put it on , can't seem to find any videos.

Fits as an extension on the Bremen Locking Chain clamp (Harbor Freight). Purchased to extend chain vise grip to secure pipe to saw horse for cutting and drilling.

I didn’t know why to expect when I bought this. But when I opened it and realized how easily it connected to my chain clamp, I was very happy. It’s an easy connection with just a hammer. It sure helped with my job when using the tool now. I’ll more than likely purchase another in the future.
