Quick connector for plastic water line - 5/16" to 5/16"
Fixes the following symptoms:
Leaking | Not dispensing water
Question: Will this fit my Kenmore model #10651212100
Answer: If your refrigerator has a 5/16 line it should work, my refrigerator is a My-tag
Question: do I need a tool to remove the old one?
Answer: No tool required. Pull the small white ring outwards and pull the tubing. Or grab the blue fitting firmly and pull tubing assembly.
Question: Will this work on a my-tag mfi2568aew french door refrigerator? the plastic tube between the unit and the copper waterline has a small hole in it.
Answer: This will work on any plastic water line as long as the diameter of the line is the same as the connector. Our size 5/16IN (8MM) So be sure to order the correct connector size.

works great. make sure you remove the blue tabs before installation though, otherwise you won't get a water tight seal (ask me how i know).This coupler seems universal for 5/16" tubing

I bought a new 5/16 inch water hose for my LG fridge but it was too short at 92 inches in length. I bought these couplers to extend that hose with a piece of my original hose. It worked perfectly. There is no leak and the fit is secure. Great product.

It leaked even when fully inserted with the clip. I had to remove it and it made the hose even shorter (duh). Ordered another kit and was able to fix my water leak. Would not recommend.

These connectors saved me an enormous amount of time repairing leaks and replacing water syste. Components in refrigerators. Very easy to use. They work well.
