Fairly good quality especially for the price compared to others ,works great I’d recommend cutting the shaft a little at a time if needed the less slack between buttons will prevent being able to shake outside button and unlocking.

It is paint over zinc or aluminum. Don't drop it on a hard surface during installation as it propably will chip. The installation was a little involved but easy to follow. It looks as the images show. It performs as intended at least in Spring and Summer weather. The price seems fair. The lock mechanism works, however, it will not provide much security keeping anyone out.

I like the fact that when I get this lined out I will be able to lock my porch door!! As stated earlier it's a return I went to install it & the spring wasn't anywhere to be found. The manufacturer sent me out without any question &: the next day! So I started once again this time the spindle wasn't long enough. It just came flush with the door! Its supposed it go a bit past that! Which isn't a problem I have a piece of brass the same size just have to cut it to the length I need. The next problem is the lock mechanism keeps popping out! I put in right turned it 180 ° !! It just doesn't stay in! I forget about reaching to the manufacturer! I did once it was very late in the day & Fri! I left a message or sent a email! I even forgot to look for a reply! Hopefully Mon I will remember to call customer support! I gave it 5 stars it's can't be proven why it's like this!! Its just a miss Fortune all of this happened!! I have three of their other products & everything is find with them!!

i'm definitely going to buy another one of these - mostly because they're very sturdy - they install easily, and work better than any i've ever had on my doors.i like the white because i can easily see when it needs to be cleaned. anyone would be shocked to discover what lives on doorknobs and handles, so a lighter colour is always best - it'll prod a person to clean it.if you buy this setup, you won't be sorry.

Used like new..Except there were no keys with the locking screen door handleRolled the dice because it was able to be shipped before a new unitI did not expect it to be shipped with all the parts, maybe a screw missing, but a key for the locking door handle is actually the point of a locking door handleAs predicted, fail.

This inexpensive screen door latch with keyed lock was easy to install on my screen door. If bought for a new screen door you may need a drill and a 1/8 inch drill bit to create a screw hole, or holes, for the installation. A Phillips or cross screw head driver is needed for the machine screws, metal screw, and wood screws used in the installation. Some kind of marker pencil or pen is also handy to mark the locations of the holes needing drilled. Spacers are provided to get the best fit between the latch and latch detent that is affixed to the door jamb opposite the latch. You may need two pairs of pliers to resize the steel bar that connects the outer and inner parts of the latch. The bar's length needs to be adjusted to match the width of the screen door. A small rotory tool with a cut off blade would also work instead of the two pliers.
