Are you having trouble sliding your screen door open or closed? Have you checked your rollers/roller assemblies? Don’t replace the entire door. For a fraction of the cost of a new door, replace those worn-out rollers. This is a tension spring roller assembly, with a downward offset tension spring used by Academy and a variety of other sliding patio door manufacturers. The roller is a 1 Inch high-density polyethylene roller with a 1-3/4 Inch long tension spring that is a heat treated steel spring. When installed the bent, or angled, flat spring positions the roller assembly so that an adjusting screw adjusts the height of the roller as needed. For stainless steel roller assembly use Prime-Line part B 756. Order yours today and have your door slide like new.

This screen door tension roller features a nylon, center grooved wheel. It comes affixed to a heat treated high tension steel spring. This style of roller is used by Metal Industries.

Replaced all 4 of the rollers on my sliding door screen and it works better than when it was brand new, they were east to install and fit perfectly. Made better than the originals that I replaced and far more durable. The price was one of the best parts as it made it affordable for me to actually fix the screen door and be able to still buy a new weather strip for it as well.

An acceptable replacement for the rollers on my sliding screen door. Appear to be as good as the originals. While scrolling the items, I found the same type with metal rollers. I will order them the next time I need new rollers.

Purchased these to replace for door, however my door wheels couldn't be removed due to rusting so I had to buy a new door. But these would have worked great, and saved a lot of money! buy this and try it before buying a whole new door!
