This door pull handle is ideal for out-swinging metal and wood doors 3/4”-1 1/4” thick. The inside latch features “No Lock Out” technology, eliminating the worry of accidentally locking yourself out. Its quality and durable construction ensures reliable everyday use on your storm or screen door. All installation hardware is included. The handle on my screen door broke several years ago. I cobbled it back together by using epoxy on a marginal internal connection. But it broke again, not at that spot, but another. The replacements I found at local box stores were of the same crummy design. This one by Wright products appears to be a more robust design and I'm delighted by it's operation. There is one piece that has to be shortened to fit the thickness of the door you're installing it onto. This is described in the instructions, so it isn't a flaw - just something to keep in mind if your considering ordering it. It's easy to file down until it's just right.

So hard to find a screen door handle with metal inner workings. But this kit does! Installed myself in minutes. Sturdy, works well, elegant design, good value.

I struggled, trying to get my storm door to close, and the handle was always problematic. I tried fixing it several times, but in desperation ordered this. 10 minutes after it arrived I have a perfectly working storm door. Great value for the money, good quality, good design. Would buy again.

Gotta say I'm not one to write reviews but wanted to with this1. It's not flimsy got weight to it, unlike the one I bought somewhere else for cheaper ( that broke in 2 days due to it locking me out, junk). This is more on a high end door handle. Love that you pull it up to open the door and the extra hardware incase you loss it...PLUS plastic shimes incase you have to raise the latch catcher2. I'm new to the world of fixing things and this was super easy to do! If I can do it, anyone can do it3. I recommend this and I'm very happy

I have had this in my hot little hands for about 20 minutes and it is installed and feels sturdy. Instructions were easy enough to read. Looks nice, lock snub works well and feels secure and pull handle releases latch nicely. Feels a million times better than the pig metal piece that was put on when my lanai was installed three years ago.
