Only needed the triangular bracket piece to replace the original one that broke. Price was way better than manufacturer was asking for oem part. Our original door & closer set is less than a year old and it snapped off for no apparent reason just like others mentioned in their reviews.In short, this is the best option I found to get the part we needed.

This was a perfect replacement for the door closer bracket on my Andersen storm/screen door. Somehow the original one simply snapped - metal fatigue of some sort, I guess. I almost had to buy an entire new closer, until I found this. This is an exact replacement for the original mounting bracket, and the old closer fits just right.

I only needed the triangular bracket. Instead of replacing all the parts I was able to use the one I needed in conjunction with the other original parts. Installed in a matter of minutes. Visually it is indistinguishable from the original and there was no difference in the thickness, durability and feel of the metal.I’ve had this installed for months with daily use and have had no issues.

I just needed the bracket after the previous one that came with my Anderson door sheared off. It was a simple install although not a perfect 1 for 1, requiring a little bit of force to get it into position. Overall though, it does the job and it's holding up to the abuse of my kids coming in and out of the house.

Could not find the replacement part anywhere, even at the Hdepo where I purchased the Anderson door. This is an exact match & worth every penny. I was disappointed knowing the cost of the complete door and only needing this part. Then I found it on Amazon! will buy again. Thank you!
