This set is very well made, lightweight and easy to use. I love the storage in the handle, the preloaded bobbins that are interchangeable with sewing machine bobbins if one gets lost. Very nice. The design is thoughtful and efficient, yet so simple one can see how to use it by just looking at it. The beautiful wooden base is high quality and glides open effortlessly without coming lose when in use.This is a must have if you have arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome!! It helps me work faster and I can produce better work with less effort.

Will be nice to accommodate all in the handle but the screwdriver is too long and the other tool to wide 🤷ðŸ»â€â™€ï¸

I'm using this leather sewing awl to repair leather items. It's replacing a stitching awl that doesn't carry the thread in the handle and I vastly prefer this arrangement. The needles are sharp and appear to be good quality, but you will need to purchase a hole punch if you are working on new leather or on latigo. The included wrench and screwdriver make changing the needle simple, and everything fits in a nicely presented box so the pieces of the kit don't get lost. It took a few minutes to get accustomed to the shape of the handle, as it is different from the pear shaped one I was using. Good value considering everything is included.

You do need a bit of hand strength but this kit is easy to use for leather repairs It’s very easy to thread and use the awl to get the needle and waxed thread into the whole. A good kit to have on hand.
