There are so many who said the glue does not stick enough and it falls off. I think the reason is because the procedure says put in inside the side of the garage door at the bottom. If you do this when the door comes down it will catch on and hit the strip and strips it off. I install mine outside. No problem stripping. And then I painted it. Oh I have not caught a mouse in a week.

Easy to install but not sure it’s worth $20 dollars. They advertise as stainless steel but I do not believe it is. I work in the metal industry and I believe it’s an “e-panel†material which is very cheap but durable. I’ve had these installed for about two months so far, and the adhesion is hold up well. The next two months will tell if they will work or not. I feel mice and rats will be able to eat through the material easily still. Will update my post in a few months

Another reviewer posted a photo of how these create an awkward bend in your door strips where they end. Prevents mice from chewing through bottom, but leaves a convenient opening for them where the metal ends since it doesn't taper.

This product was easy to install and seems to be working well.We had mice chew through the plastic weather stripping garage door seal and invade our garage and cause damage to some items stored. Once we got them all trapped/unalived it seems to keep themOut. I did have a slight challenge of getting the one strip to stay in place only because of how the mice had chewed the stripping.

Mice have been munching on the plastic flaps around my garage door and getting in. This was easy to install, and time will tell how effective they are.

Second time I’ve ordered these. They seem to do the job. First used on the side of my roll up door into the basement. No more mouse chews on the molding. I put these on my garage doors. Simple.

Great product! I tried stuffing steel wool into the little hole that the mice chewed in the weatherstripping. However, this didn't deter them. The weatherstrip shields were easy to install and work great.

Good product and works as designed but is quite pricey for what they are. Would like to see the product fold over vs sticking to the one side only.

What an absolutely terrible product. Do NOT waste your money!! These are smaller than the size of a standard ruler and are flimsy and paper thin. Seriously....heavy duty tin foil is higher quality than these "metal" strips. The adhesion is very poor and didn't stick even with a clean surface. Overall really disappointing product and at the price, a down right rip off.

It's a basic fix. A strip of thin metal with an adhesive on one side. Not worth 40ish dollars. I applied it in cold weather and it stayed on three spots, but the fourth weather strip was sort of bent in and the garage door keep peeling the strip off. finally I applied a heavy duty epoxy adhesive and it stopped getting pulled off. Could have done the whole thing myself with some rodent proof strips and my epoxy adhesive.
