While I was a little scared to use this on my skis the process couldn’t have been easier. It works amazingly well and has all the tools you’ll really need to get the job done! Holds up well and with all the extra sticks you get you’ll never need to buy another thing!

Ptex and sanding sponge are good but only 3 stars because the metal scraper has a bow in it. When it’s laid on a flat surface it’s obviously not straight which will affect the “flatness†of the scraping process. I’ll update if they read this and send me a good flat scraper.

I recently rode my snowboard over some rocks. The Ptex near both edges was really torn up and one of the scraps went all the way down to the core. I ended up using one and a half sticks of Ptex for the repair. The scraper really came in handy. I would recommend this product to anyone who was knowledge of how to apply Ptex and knows when it is needed. THIS IS NOT WAX, contrary to what the other reviewers have stated.

scraper is nice and sharp. petex melts readily with my wax iron. sponge is useful for prep.

I have used a lot of Ptex over the years and this has the worst peal out I have seen. Does not stick through a pre wax brushing let alone going down a hill… won’t buy this brand again. The sanding pad is ok but the metal plate is a little too flimsy for removal without scratches…

Ci ho riparato delle tavole e il kit fa il suo dovere.Dovere sciogliere il prodotto il più vicino possibile alla soletta,quasi a toccarla,e non fare assolutamente venire la fiamma gialla perché lascia residui carboniosi neri quando scioglie,ma deve avere una fiamma blu e sciolto quasi a contatto. É questione di pratica e di mano il prodotto é valido e completo della scatolina e della gomma abrasiva per pulire le lamine.
