Got it for my 4 year old with autism who is obsessed with tornadoes. Some reviews were complaining about it being loud, but mine is silent. Took off a star because the top part is the rocket isn't bonded well. The top part popped off after about 2 days and it looks like it's held together by hot glue. I'm going to have to super glue it to keep it on to avoid meltdowns. Depending on how rough your child is, I don't know how many falls this thing could survive. The tornado lasts long enough and the colors are really pretty. If you get a good one that is quiet, it could be a good nightlight as well.

Cute lamp but does nothing! Brought as a child’s Christmas gift. Does not work with batteries or USB. No tornado effect, no lights, no sound. Does nothing! Disappointed!

No longer works after less than 2 months. Kids Christmas gift can’t even last through February. Now a part of junk waste landfill culture. It’s a bad feeling!

The lamp is super cool! My son thinks tornados are very cool so he asked for a “pet tornado†for Christmas. It changes color, spins, and has glitter inside! The only issue we have had is that the cord doesn’t connect properly so you have to wiggle the cord just right and sit something small underneath the cord in order to get it to stay on.

This was purchased as a fun gift and it was certainly that. The tornado effect and colour changes are hypnotic and acts as a fun item of decor. Having botb a usb connection as well as the choice of using batteries if needed adds to its versatility

My son was mystified by the vortex created by water as it drains and asked me what that is. For reasons, i forgot the world and called it a tornado, yes.. i know, but he's 3.Now, he wanted to see the tornado... over, and over...and over after bath. So i promised i'll buy him a "tornado" if he will go to bed."In a bottle?!" he exclaimed, "Of course, let's see if they have one on amazon" i said.. with a sly grin, already preparing my "oh noo... it doesn't exist face"..Well, you're reading this, so we both know how that went down. Point is, it works, he loves it.

Kids love it. It's really affective and quite bright.Only down side is the noise when spinning/making the tornado which it's starts and stops constantly.Overall it's good for the price.
