Choosing the right fabric can consider the color and texture of the fabric

Drawing Lines
Use a marker pen to outline the garment

Cut the fabric
According to your design drawing, lay the fabric flat and cut the fabric according to the drawing.

Wrap It and Stick In
Wrap the cut fabric around the mannequin and tuck the excess fabric into the mannequin grooves.

Decorate the dress
You can choose to add some sequins, beads, laces to decorate the dress

Our 7 almost 8 year old was instantly taken with this kit and spent an hour working it all out. The instructions are truly terrible, though, so if you’re a step by step person, this kit isn’t for you.

My 8.5 yo daughter was so excited when she opened this on Christmas morning. She loves drawing and designing dresses and is learning to sew. She found this to be a bit overwhelming. It was difficult to use the patterns to cute the fabric and it led to some frustration. We also had trouble with the ribbons and accessories. Above our skill level perhaps.
