I work with both work burning art, and epoxy resins....this little filter captures both the smoke, and the VOCs from the epoxy. Never work with epoxy with out an outside window open, or outside ventilation of some sort, this filter draws the voc and smoke away from my face, and every little bit helps to keep my safe and healthy. The smoke eater part is awesome....now....where can I get replacement filters?

Bigger then I expected , Thats a good thing. Works great. I'm just into electronics as a hobby and unit works great for my needs. Also works well at extracting that smell from import electronic components that you get when you open the package for the first time.

It works perfect. It is quiet and blows the exhaust upwards. I would highly recommend it... I wasn't expecting much from a $25 Fume Extractor.... But I am impressed daily by the quality Asia can produce at these low prices... The filter area is 130x130mm and the Hood assembly brings the total width to 225x225mm...

My soldering exhaust fan showed up with a problem with the cord right at the plug. When plugged in as you move the cord around the fan will turn on and off.I contacted the seller and explained my problem. The seller quickly responded and offered to send out a new unit. They did not require that I deal with the BS of sending the old one back.I received the new unit and it worked as expected. Your project needs to be fairly close to the fan to collect the fumes. I like it because the house no longer stinks while soldering and my wife no longer yells at me for stinking up the house!

The fan doesn't really have that SUCK factor that we're looking for. It also has some 'dead air' spots where its actually blowing air to you. I'll probably have to replace the fan with something heftier in the future.

Mine quit working after about a month of use. No smoke or weird sound I flipped the switch to turn it on one day and it did not turn on. Tried different outlets and all that but I still couldn't get it to turn on.I opened it up to troubleshoot and found a serious safety flaw: The ground wire is just terminated without connecting to anything in the fan!! The wire is just cut, right at the end of the power cord, inside of the fan housing.

Very poorly made. Could have very easily done a better job. The fan is probably only about 20-30% efficient because 1: poor low quality fan with too low of RPM and big bulky motor. 2: The shroud around the fan is a square box, this is a poor design as it does not allow for even induction and actually pushed air out the front again in one corner.If you are more than a few inches away it's useless. Looks elsewhere for one.

I originally bought this for my silversmith hobby, but then noticed that it really cleared the air when a friend smoked in my house. Since then, I bought one for my office for when people wore too much perfume, and it worked great there too. I have one in my bedroom for the noise and to clear the air there. I think in all I've purchased five of them, and my sister has purchased two.

The product arrived promptly and undamaged.This looks and feels like a Weller WSA350 which I had and broke accidentally in a move.After the first uses I can’t tell the difference. Good price good product.If my experience changes I’ll update this post after contacting the seller if needed.
