We purchased this cabinet to hold our 120 gallon terrarium. Was pretty easy to put together and seems very study! Like how it looks!

I got this primarily for the storage aspect. It’s a style that works in my room with the whole slightly barnyard aesthetic, and I need. Storage. For me, it’s a bonus that I could casually put a fish tank on it. I have a large tank, and I feel better knowing that if my stand develops a problem I have somewhere else I can put my tank and animals. Most of the weight bearing capabilities I would believe are in the metal frame. That said, I do wish that at least the top board was real wood and not engineered. Sturdiness may not be an issue, but if you do use this for an aquarium and you get that engineered wood wet for any length of time you may have an issue with it disintegrating. With an aquarium, you will get it wet. Just. You will.I would have one major concern with the finished build if using for something heavy (like a fish tank.). When moving it out of the way/into place with construction completed, it flexed horizontally a LOT. I wasn’t able to get a clear video, but really, if you hit this with any force sideways it was wiggling like a nightcrawler. I went back and retightened each of the little circle thingies, and upon doing that it was much less bad, but I can still wiggle it more than I’d like. Now, once a large force is pushing DOWN, I think much of that will go away, so it may not actually be an issue (I am not deducting a star for this because I don’t know for sure on this.). I do want to note it though, because it is there. I would say be careful if moving the completed piece.I am NOT a light person, and I both sat and stood on the finished stand. I really did not feel like it would be a problem way beyond my weight. Felt very solid underneath me as long as I kept my weight mostly constant and didn’t wiggle sideways.Putting this together was… A thing. For starters, I was able to do it with almost no help. I needed help putting one of the initial steps together, and that’s it. I also have a minor back injury, and I’m not really all that strong. If I can do it, so can you.The instructions were overall okay. They worked; the thing is put together now. There were some moments of confusion, especially on one step (attaching the bottom metal reinforcement piece to the bottom particle board piece.). With the diagram I ended up grabbing the wrong piece and putting two holes into the bottom of the stand, where they weren’t supposed to be. Luckily, they ended up in the back and in the back INSIDE the cabinet. I do wish that had been laid out better or been two separate steps. The other issue when putting it together was that things just didn’t quite line up right a lot of the time. The most glaring time this happened was right at the end with the upper ledge/shelf piece. The holes to screw the board on don’t match up with the board. I was able to get the two center pieces to screw in, so the board is attached and I don’t think it’s structurally a problem (see picture with the allen wrenches. Upper one marks where the hole is on the bottom of the board, while the lower one is inserted in the hole in the metal. Flipping the board around did not help.). While some of the other pieces weren’t quite there, all the structural pieces I was able to manhandle into place.I will also add a little tip for hanging the doors. I went ahead and used a little mini drill thing to drill a bit of a hole for the screw to start in. Technically there is one there, but it’s more of a marking than a starter hole. It made it SO much easier to screw in the hinge while holding the door in place.Overall, while I had some minor issues with the stand, I do like it. It’s BIG, it’s bulky, and it has a good chunk of storage. The cabinet doors would have plenty of room for a canister filter, the outlets all work (and the hooks would work well to make a drip loop), etc. It is certainly heavy, and it does feel sturdy overall.

This 120 gallon fish tank stand comes with power outlets on the side and sliding barn doors on the front. This fish tank stand looks more like furniture than it does a fish tank stand. This stand has a metal framing that is worked into the wood of this to support the tank.In use, assembly is required and the person would need two people to carry the box that it comes in as it's very heavy and long so make sure you have somebody to help you the build of this was very straight forward. The instructions were easy for me to understand. The quality of this feels good and this stand has a supporting system made of metal throughout the entire body of the of the stand, even in the center there are two posts that go from top to bottom for support as well as in each corner and along the sides of the top and the bottom of this. I thought it was really neat how they cut out the wood for the framing to be inlaid as you built this. The build of this took me about two hours to do by myself, taking my time and not in a rush but working at a steady pace, following the instructions. I was by myself. I built this in a small space and would have been better to be able to build this in a bigger space, so you could roll this and flip it as you need to, to put it together. In the end, the build quality was very good and very simple. The barn doors are a little bit finicky at staying on the rail but aren't used very much and aren't really a big deal and look a lot better than regular doors. I also like the mesh material in the barn doors allowing you to see through into the cubbies or shelving behind them and plan to get some back lighting to light those pockets up. This 120 gallon fish tank stand may be used for a fish tank at some point as I do have a fish room but currently will be used in an office studio space that I am making and has a wide range of use and function. The overall look of this I really like. Our house fits the style and our decor fits the style as well. I also like that this has a built-in power strip on the side with USB end plugins. This fish tank stand feels very sturdy and does not feel like it's going to fall apart or like it was cheaply made. I really enjoy the esthetics and think I'll get a lot of use out of this. The value on this is about what you would expect to pay for something like this. Fish tank stands are fairly expensive and the bigger they are the more expensive they get so I feel like for the cost of this is about what you would expect to pay and is reasonable. The style of this gives this a better value than your typical fish tank stand would in my opinion and having the metal framing built into this without hardly being able to see it really gave this a decent value for the cost at the time of this review.Overall, this is probably one of the nicer commercial made fish tank stands of this size that I've seen and really like the design of this. I think a 120 gallon fish tank would look fantastic on top of this and once I'm done using it for my purposes now I may consider 120 gallon tank at some point. If you're looking for a 120 gallon fish tank stand I would say this is a fairly decent option outside of building your own and really like the way this one looks and has adequate support in just the right spots to say that I would have no problem recommending this fish tank stand to somebody else.

I am the proud owner of the YITAHOME Heavy Duty Metal Aquarium Stand with Power Outlets, 55-75 Gallon Fish Tank Stand and it has pretty much been amazing. It was slightly challenging to assemble since I'm directionally dyslexic. The moment that I saw that a 120 gallon stand was available, I knew that I needed to have it for my dream tank. I haven't assembled this one since I won't get my huge tank until we purchase a home. This manufacturer has gained my trust. It's sturdy in reality and not just on paper. My 75 gallon tank easily weighs 800 pounds with the filters, decorations, and the protein skimmer. It also comes with USB ports which is crucial for my aquarium cameras. If you're looking for a solid and super functional aquarium stand, look no further.
