Years ago I was a dealership mechanic. The lead tech for my group had a tool car with an air manifold bolted to the side, and he had 4 or 5 recoil hoses going to it. He could use an air ratchet, mini impact, full size impact, and air nozzle without ever having to plug or unplug any of the tools. He got a lot done, mostly because he was a very good tech, but also because he was good at finding shortcuts like this one.I don't work on cars for a living any more, but even as a non-professional, I like to work smart. My tool cart has a 3-way air manifold on it, but up until recently I only had 2 recoil hoses for it. One port was unused. It wasn't a big deal until last weekend, when I replaced wheel bearings on a family member's car. I was using an impact gun, air ratchet, and blow nozzle all at the time, and I always had to switch at least one tool around. It was usually at the worst time, too, like when my gloves are covered with anti-seize or whell bearing grease. Yeah, first world problem, but it's an easy one to solve so I started hunting for another recoil hose.I wanted a short hose for my cart. One of the hoses that I have is a very inexpensive, excessively long one, and all it does is drag on the ground and get in the way. When I saw that this hose was only 10' long and had small, tight coils, I bought it.So far, I'm impressed. It doesn't flop around like my cheap one, and the length is just right. It also seems quite durable, though the final verdict on that will have to wait until I have some more miles on it.I like the fact that it comes in different colors. I specifically chose gray for this one because I don't have another gray one, and I like the idea of color coding the hoses based on what tool is attached to them. This also makes it easier to see if the hoses are getting tangled. Instead of a mess of hose that's the same color, you can follow each one and untangle it.If this hose works out, I may replace my other two as well. I really like the idea of short, tightly-coiled recoil hoses, and I can get these in multiple colors. I really don't want to spend another $30 on more hoses, but when it's time to get stuff done, I don't want to mess around, either.

So far so good. Id brought a cheap harbour freight unit and the damn thing blew apart, plastic just shattered like glass and stuff went everywhere. Hopefully this one lasts, so far so good.

Quality of the product looks good. Only time will tell how long the hose lasts.I'm old enough to know that products don't last as long as they once did.The previous coiled air hose that I had from a different manufacturer disintegrated and the strain reliefs weren't as substantial. So, here's hoping.

while this hose appears to be well made, make sure that you check the push connectors for tightness

All looked great when it arrived. First use, when it hit around100 psi, the male end snapped in half ruining the hose. Please beware that this will likely only work under very low pressure scenarios.UPDATE - The seller refunded my money immediately and apologized for the issue.
