This is my third one. My first was the best, but it was stolen out of my boat. The second one would not stay together, so we glued it together, and it was never right. The third one is also not fitting together right, but I haven't used it yet. The pole itself is great for my hands. It casts well and easy to use. It is a very comfortable pole. I wish they would put a little more effort into the quality and then put the price up a little. It's kind of a poor quality when it doesn't need to be. I am disappointed in the 3rd one as well.

small lightweight- smooth action- 4 pound test line with good drag can bring is a fair size fish-- rod is also great feel balance and flexable- great buy at $20 and can do nearly what those $100 combos can do--

The fishing rod was put in the box with no insulation or packing material. It was banged around inside until it snapped off the tip of the rod. There was NO care or thought put into how to ship something fragile so it wouldn't break! It wasn't even in the manufacturer's original packaging. Very poorly packaged.

A lightweight rod and reel for light fishing. Excellent for children or taking on vacation. Designed only to catch fish of no more than a few pounds, which includes most fresh water fishing.
